Net ecosystem productivity (NEP) is an important index for the quantitative evaluation of carbon sources and sinks in terrestrial ecosystems. Based on MOD17A3 and meteorological data, the vegetation NEP was estimated from 2000 to 2021 in the Loess Plateau (LP) and its six ecological subregions of the LP (loess sorghum gully subregions:A1, A2; loess hilly and gully subregions:B1, B2; sandy land and agricultural irrigation subregion:C; and earth-rock mountain and river valley plain subregion:D). Combined with the terrain, remote sensing, and human activity data, Theil-Sen Median trend analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression residual analysis, and geographic detector were used, respectively, to explore the spatio-temporal characteristics of NEP and its response mechanism to climate, terrain, and human activity.

Based on long-term field observation data over 11 years at 23 sites in two mountainous areas (TS1 and TS2) at elevations from 829 to 2700 m, where the dominant vegetation type of TS1 and TS2 was temperate mixed broadleaf-coniferous forest and cold temperate coniferous forest, respectively, we analyzed the correlations between soil respiration (R) and abiotic and biotic factors to explore the response patterns of R to environmental factors within and between the sites along the elevation gradient. We found that soil moisture (θ) and its combinations (T × θ and θ/T) with soil temperature (T) increased significantly with increasing elevation, while T, soil bulk density (SBD), C/N ratio, and pH decreased significantly with increasing elevation. Within each site, both exponential- T (ET) and Gaussian-T (GT) models could be used for predicting the R seasonal variation, except for two sites in the area of TS1, where θ was a better predictor than T.

Mountainous scenic spots are important tourism resources, and the study of tourists' landscape perception and emotional preference when visiting them is beneficial to the management of scenic spots in order to improve the service quality and promote the protection, development, and utilization of scenic resources. In this paper, we use the location photo data of tourists at Huangshan Mountain to extract the visual semantic information of location photos, calculate the photo sentiment value, and mine the landscape perception and sentiment preference features of tourists using DeepSentiBank image recognition model and photo visual semantic quantification method. The results show the following: (1) Huangshan tourists mainly focus on nine types of photos, with the most attention paid to the category of mountain rock landscapes and the least attention paid to the category of animal landscapes.

A case-crossover design was adopted to calculate the incidence density of bAVM-related haemorrhage among female patients in risk (pregnancy and puerperium) and control (non-pregnancy and non-puerperium) periods, according to four scenarios observed in different populations (scenario I: patients with haemorrhagic bAVM of all ages; scenario II: patients with haemorrhagic bAVM of all ages, with at least one previous pregnancy; scenario III: patients with haemorrhagic bAVM who are of reproductive age (15-45 years); scenario IV: patients with haemorrhagic bAVM of reproductive age (15-45 years), with at least one previous pregnancy.

Titanium matrix composites (TMCs) with excellent mechanical properties, reinforced by graphene, is deemed the lightweight and high strength structural materials. In this study, TC11 titanium alloy powder and graphene nanosheets (GNPs) were used as raw materials, and the composite powder with good uniformity and fluidity was obtained through non-interventional homogeneous mixing by a planetary mixer.
