The palatine aponeurosis is a thin, fibrous lamella comprising the extended tendons of the tensor veli palatini muscles, attached to the posterior border and inferior surface of the palatine bone. In dentistry, the relationship between the "vibrating line" and the border of the hard and soft palate has long been discussed. However, to our knowledge, there has been no discussion of the relationship between the palatine aponeurosis and the vibrating line(s).
