With the gradual rise of the supply chain financial model and the expansion of scale, credit risk and contagion effects are gradually strengthened as business and financial links between upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain. The traditional credit risk contagion assessment model based on the financial status of an enterprise and the pledging of fixed assets has been unable to meet the basic needs of modern supply chain companies and financial institutions for risk control. Therefore, this paper introduces the Cox-Copula model to comprehensively assess a company's financial situation and the business health of upstream and downstream companies in the supply chain from the perspective of actual transactions between companies and fixed asset pledges.

The objective of this research was to examine the effectiveness of chitosan (CH)-gallic acid (GA) conjugate (CH-g-GA) as an edible coating in improving the physicochemical properties and oxidative stability of deep-fat fried pork meatballs. The meatballs were coated with either CH alone, a combination of CH and GA, or CH-g-GA before being fried at 180 °C for 5 min. The viscosity of the coating solutions influenced the amount of coating picked up by the meatballs, with higher viscosity coatings showing increased pickup.

Al-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy fabricated through selective laser melting (SLM) is an additive manufacturing alloy with promising industrial potential. In this study, as-printed specimens were subjected to either single-stage or two-stage heat treatment processes to investigate the effect of temperature from room temperature to high temperature on the specimens' tensile and fatigue properties to establish a reliable reference for aerospace applications. The tensile test results indicated that the heat treatment contributed to determine the properties of the nanoprecipitate Al(Sc, Zr) with a strengthening phase, improving tensile strength.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like indomethacin and others are widely used in clinics, but they have the potential to cause severe gastrointestinal damage including intestinal barrier dysfunction. Thus, two flavonols galangin and kaempferol with or without heat treatment (100 °C, 30 min) were assessed for their effect on indomethacin-damaged rat intestine epithelial (IEC-6) cells. In total, the cell exposure of 300 μmol/L indomethacin for 24 h caused cell toxicity efficiently, resulting in decreased cell viability, enhanced lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release or reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and obvious barrier loss.
