Purpose: Preclinical model found that elective nodal irradiation (ENI) attenuated the efficacy of radiotherapy and radio-immunotherapy. However, limited clinical studies have explored the correlation between radiation dose-volume parameters of negative tumor draining lymph nodes (TDLNs) and T-cell activation/prognosis for cancer patients treated with definitive radio(chemo)therapy.
Experimental Design: Patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer undergoing definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT) were selected from two prospective trials.
Studies have shown that histidine 179A and 183A (HA) of the ZNF32 protein exhibit point-like nuclear speckles, but the causes of such speckle formation and their effects on breast cancer cells remain unknown. In this study, we prepared breast cancer cells containing ZNF32 HA, HA, and HA and observed nuclear speckles in all three cell types. Transcriptome analysis showed that these nuclear speckles may be related to changes in the activities of the cell growth factor and RNA polymerase II transcription factor.

We combine diffusion MRI, resting-state functional MRI, and graph theory analyses to examine how structural (SC) and functional connectivity (FC) at term-equivalent age (TEA) influence EF outcomes at 3 years corrected age in children born at or below 32 weeks' gestation. Here we show shorter average path length (a measure of efficient structural communication) in the insula is linked to better EF performance, implying that more direct structural pathways in this region facilitate critical cognitive processes.
