A palladium-catalyzed asymmetric chlorocyclization of 1,6-enynes has been described. Controlling the chloride ion concentration in the system by substrate design is the key to achieving asymmetric chlorinated cyclization. In the presence of Pd(PhCN)Cl and chiral phosphoramidite ligands, the reaction accesses diverse chiral ()-α-chloromethylene-γ-butyrolactams with excellent selectivity and enantioselectivity.

Despite its prevalence, there is currently no established standard for front-line treatment in this subtype of NSCLC, underscoring the increasing need for personalized therapeutic strategies. In this report, we present a case of a patient with STK11-mutant NSCLC who was treated with first-line cadonilimab (10mg/kg) in combination with pemetrexed (500mg/m^2) plus carboplatin (AUC=5), resulting in a notable extension of progression-free survival (PFS).

This method exhibits excellent regioselectivity, good functional group compatibility, and mild reaction conditions. The mechanistic studies suggest that the reaction proceeds via a stabilized π-benzyl palladium intermediate, which is essential for the formation of C(sp)-Cl bonds.

Most GI cancer deaths can be reduced by earlier detection and more appropriate medical treatment. Unlike the current "gold standard" techniques, non-invasive and highly sensitive screening tests are required for GI cancer diagnosis.

In contrast, the catalytic asymmetric cyclization involving halopalladation remains an unresolved challenge with the inevitable disturbance of the halide ions. Herein, an intramolecular chlorine transfer strategy is used to accomplish the enantioselective chloropalladation cyclization of 1,6-enynes.

Thus, a novel biosensor based on the quenching effect of fluorescence-embedded SYBR Green I (SG) dye and graphene oxide (GO) was introduced in this study. The probe DNA forms a double helix structure with perfectly complementary DNA (pcDNA) and 15 single-base mismatch DNA (smDNA) respectively.

Background: Alpha lipoic acid (α -LA) is a naturally occurring antioxidant and metabolic enzyme co-factor. Recently, α -LA has been reported to inhibit the growth of various cancer cells, but the precise signaling pathways that mediate the effects of α -LA on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) development remain unclear.
Methods: The CCK-8 assay was used to assess cell proliferation in NSCLC cell lines after α -LA treatment.
BACKGROUND Apoptosis is mediated by the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress pathway, mitochondrial pathway, and death receptor. Data herein suggested an inhibitory effect of marchantin M on tumor formation in nude mice as well as the impact on CHOP and GRP78 expression. MATERIAL AND METHODS The role of marchantin M on proliferation and apoptosis of DU145 cells were measured by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively.

In this study, we validated the application of folate receptor α (FRα) as the tumor marker to detect CTC through tumor-specific ligand PCR (LT-PCR) and assessed its utility for diagnosis of bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Immunohistochemistry for FRα was performed on ten bladder TCC tissues.
