This study proposed a recyclable p-toluenesulfonic acid (p-TsOH) fractionation process for co-producing lignin nanoparticles (LNPs) and fermentable sugars from lignocellulosic biorefinery biowaste (enzymatic hydrolysis residue (EHR)).
