Background Pathologic lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI) is associated with poor outcome in endometrial cancer. Its relationship with tumor stiffness, which can be measured with use of MR elastography, has not been extensively explored. Purpose To assess whether MR elastography-based mechanical characteristics can aid in the noninvasive prediction of LVSI in patients with endometrial cancer.

However, a traditional electromechanical actuator cannot achieve high-speed and high-precision motion control with a compact structure. This paper proposes a magnetic levitation actuator which could realize the 5-DOF motion control of a lens using six groups of differential electromagnets.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOptineurin (OPTN) is a widely expressed multifunctional articulatory protein that participates in cellular or mitochondrial autophagy, vesicular transport, and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress via interactions with various proteins. Skeletal development is a complex biological process that requires the participation of various osteoblasts, such as bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs), and osteogenic, osteoclastic, and chondrogenic cells. OPTN was recently found to be involved in the regulation of osteoblast activity, which affects bone metabolism.

The generation and recovery from exercise fatigue involves alterations in multiple signaling pathways, mainly AMPK, PI3K/Akt, Nrf2/ARE, NF-κB, PINK1/Parkin, and BDNF/TrkB, as well as MAPK signaling pathways that mediate energy supply, reduction of metabolites, oxidative stress homeostasis, muscle fiber type switching, and central protective effects.

Recent studies have revealed that MOTS-c promotes osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, and mineralization. Furthermore, it inhibits osteoclast production and mediates the regulation of bone metabolism and bone remodeling.

Herein, we constructed a durable carbon anode for high-energy-density K-ion full cells by a preferential pyrolysis strategy. Utilizing S and N volatilization from a π-π stacked supermolecule, the preferential pyrolysis process introduces low-potential active sites of sp hybridized carbon and carbon vacancies, endowing a low-potential "vacancy-adsorption/intercalation" mechanism.

In this study, tubeimoside (TBM) I, II, and III from this drug were investigated for the adjuvant activities, structure-activity relationships (SAR), and mechanisms of action. Three TBMs significantly boosted the antigen-specific humoral and cellular immune responses and elicited both Th1/Th2 and Tc1/Tc2 responses towards ovalbumin (OVA) in mice.

Under extreme working conditions such as high-speed driving on roads with a large road surface unevenness coefficient, turning on a road with a low road surface adhesion coefficient, and emergency acceleration and braking, a vehicle's stability deteriorates sharply and reduces ride comfort. There is extensive existing research on vehicle active suspension control, trajectory tracking, and control methods. However, most of these studies focus on conventional operating conditions, while vehicle stability analysis under extreme operating conditions is much less studied.

As a kind of ethnomedicine, the report on its chemical analysis was still blank, which restricted its clinical application. Therefore, this paper aimed to illustrate the chemical characteristics of Radix Cudramiae.

Different from raw rhubarb with a purgative effect, prepared rhubarb shows effects of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. However, the mechanisms of its action through regulating endogenous metabolites remain unclear.

Their pelagic-benthic life cycle helps them survive periods of adverse conditions and contributes greatly to their ecological success. Many studies on overwintering have focused on benthic colonies and suggest that sediment serves as the major inoculum for subsequent summer blooms.

We also hope to explore the biologic significance of selected radiomic features.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study, first using the 18F-FDG PET/CT images and clinical data from 100 patients with endometrial cancer to construct a training group (70 patients) and a test group (30 patients).
Objectives: To explore the role of radiomics in integrating primary tumor and peritumoral areas based on PET-CT scans for predicting E-cadherin (E-cad) expression in early-stage cervical cancer (ESCC) and its correlation with pelvic lymph node metastasis (PLNM).
Methods: Ninety-seven ESCC patients who had undergone PET-CT scans were retrospectively analyzed. The ROI of primary tumors, peritumoral areas, and plus tumors were semi-automatically segmented on PET-CT images.
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of cervical cancer volume on PET/magnetic resonance (MR) texture heterogeneity.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the PET/MR images of 138 patients with pathologically diagnosed cervical squamous cell carcinoma, including 50 patients undergoing surgery and 88 patients receiving concurrent chemoradiotherapy. Fluorodeoxyglucose 18 (18FDG)-PET/MR examination were performed for each patient before treatment, and the PET and MR texture analysis were undertaken.
Objective: The study aimed to explore the method of constructing the upper respiratory tract model of patients with obstructive sleep apnoea hypopnoea syndrome (OSAHS) and its application in the detection of the changes of flow field characteristics of the upper respiratory tract before and after surgical treatment.
Methods: A 34-year-old male OSAHS patient was taken as the study subject. The improved Han-uvulopalato pharyngoplasty was adopted for treatment.
The purified active fraction of saponin (AJSAF) is an ideal adjuvant candidate that improves antigen-specific both cellular and humoral immune responses and elicits mixed Th1/Th2 responses, but its mechanisms remain unclear. The key features of action of AJSAF were investigated in mice immunized with Newcastle disease virus-based recombinant influenza vaccine (rL-H5) and AJSAF at the same leg (AJSAF+rL-H5) or different legs (AJSAF/rL-H5). The adjuvant activity of AJSAF on rL-H5 is strictly dependent on their spatial colocalization.

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) had received great attention as a result of their recent rapid increasing efficiency. However, the stability of PSCs is still a challenge due to the degradation of the perovskite layer caused by the high-energy ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Inspired by the luminescent down converting ability for UV blocking and conversion as well as energy transfer between suitable rare earth (RE) ions, a planar CHNHPbI perovskite solar cell using Sm and Eu co-doped TiO electron transfer layer was designed.

Organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) exhibit spectacular changes in the photovoltaic area, but they still face the challenges of full spectral utilization and photostability under continuous light irradiation. The ultraviolet (UV) part in sunlight could induce oxygen vacancy in the mesoporous TiO (m-TiO) layer, resulting in the degradation of perovskite photoactive films and the rapidly decreased device performance. In this work, we demonstrate that an effective luminescent downconversion material, Eu(TTA)(Phen)MAA (ETPM), can be used as an interfacial modifier between the m-TiO layer and the perovskite photoactive layer to improve the power conversion efficiency (PCE) from 17.
