Introduction: Continuing Health Education is a strategy that integrates learning into the work process to transform health practices. Primary health care has proved to be a powerful space for consolidating continuing education, as it promotes reflection and learning based on the local singularities of the territory. Continuing health education is an important strategy for transforming the reality of Primary health care, reinventing work, and consequently changing practices.

Virtual reality (VR) interventions can assist in non-pharmacological treatment in a more ecological way, positively impacting cognitive abilities. However, there are few studies on VR exclusively involving people with AD in randomized controlled trials.

Linked color imaging (LCI) enhances lesion contrast and improves the examination performance. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effect of LCI on adenoma detection rate in adults who underwent colonoscopy.

Methods: A randomized, controlled, parallel-group design was employed. Thirty-two men with PAD and IC were randomly assigned to one of two groups: WT (n=16) or control (CO, n=16) twice a week for 12 weeks.
Herein, we present a comprehensive total synthesis of cannabidiol integrating both batch and continuous flow conditions. Our approach is planned to streamline the synthesis of olivetolic acid derivatives and utilize an enantiomerically pure monoterpene moiety obtained from naturally occurring (R)-(+)-limonene by photocatalysis. Key reactions, including the synthesis of olivetolic ester and a Friedel-Crafts alkylation, are successfully adapted to continuous flow, resulting in improved yields and selectivities.

Although many studies have been conducted in Brazil, a global view on the molecular profile related to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) in this large and heterogeneous population is lacking.
Methods: A systematic review following the PRISMA guidelines was conducted in three electronic databases (PubMed, BIREME and SciELO).

Purpose: To examine the impact of two implant designs that promote different insertion torque values on implant stability and to histomorphometrically evaluate the bone healing after immediate implant placement in fresh sockets in a sheep model.
Materials And Methods: Twelve female sheep (mean weight: 35.0 ± 5.
The present study compared three different implant and abutment sets of type Morse taper (MT) connection, with- and without-index, were analyzed regarding their mechanical behavior without and with cyclic load application simulating the masticatory function. Ninety implant and abutment (IA) sets were used in the present study, divided into three groups (n = 30 samples per group): Group A, Ideale solid straight abutment (one piece) without index; Group B, Ideale abutment with an angle of 30-degree (two pieces) without index; Group C, Ideale abutment with an angle of 30-degree (two pieces) with index. The abutment stability quotient (ASQ) values, detorque value and rotation angle were measured before and after the cycling load.

This study aimed to evaluate the phytochemical composition and the anticholinesterase, antioxidant, and antiglycation effects of extracts and fractions of aerial parts and roots of P.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of Zn-L-SeMet in broiler diets from 1 to 42 days of age reared under cyclic heat stress and its effects on growth performance, cloacal temperatures, mortality rate, blood parameters, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and growth hormone receptor (GHR) gene expression in the breast muscle. A total of 1000 male Cobb 500® broiler chicks were randomly assigned to five treatments: 0, 0.

Methodology: 41 elderly women, aged 60-75 years, with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and who had covid-19 were included, divided into three groups: 14 in the Diabetes without covid-19 group (DG), 15 in the Diabetes with covid-19 group (CG), 12 in the Diabetes with covid-19 group who had Pulmonary Compromise (IG). Sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh questionnaire, anamnesis, capillary blood glucose, blood pressure collection, anthropometry, resting electrocardiogram for 10 min for heart rate variability (HRV) analysis.
Inferior myocardial infarction is often accompanied by infarction of the right ventricle (RV). Uncommon RV infarction cases with patent foramen ovale (PFO) shunt, leading to severe persistent hypoxemia even without any pulmonary embolism involvement and often requiring invasive intervention, have been documented previously. We report a patient with RV infarction and right-to-left shunt via PFO who improved with only early revascularization and optimal standard treatment.

The pharmacokinetic properties obtained in silico revealed that the derivatives are in accordance with the parameters established by lipinski and veber, showing that such compounds have good bioavailability or permeability when administered orally. In assays of antioxidant activity, thiosemicarbazones showed moderate to high antioxidant potential when compared to thiazoles.

Color Doppler ultrasound (CDU) of the temporal arteries is a rapid, noninvasive method to diagnose GCA. This study aims to determine the diagnostic accuracy of the halo sign in temporal arteries by CDU in people with suspected GCA.

Materials And Methods: Eighty-eight implants with their respective abutments were tested and distributed into four groups (n = 22 per group): Morse taper connection implant (MT group), conventional external hexagon implant (EH con group), new Collo implant of external hexagon with the smooth portion out of the bone insertion (EH out group), and new Collo implant of external hexagon with the implant platform inserted to the bone level (EH bl group). All the sets were subjected to quasi-static loading in a universal testing machine, and we measured the maximum resistance force supported by each sample.
Recent formulations of resin-based composites have incorporated different combinations of materials. However, the mechanical and bonding behavior of these materials with intraradicular posts are unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of light-cure and dual-cure resin composite posts on the fracture resistance of endodontically-treated teeth.
