The Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, collectively known as the San Pedro Bay Ports, serve as vital gateways for freight movement in the United States. The COVID-19 pandemic and other influencing factors disrupted freight movement and led to unprecedented cargo surge, vessel congestion, and increased air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from seaport and connected freight system operations beginning in June 2020. In this study, we conducted the first comprehensive monthly assessment of the excess particulate matter, oxides of nitrogen (NO), and carbon dioxide (CO) emissions due to the heightened congestion and freight transport activity from ocean-going vessels (OGVs), trucks, locomotives, and cargo handling equipment (CHE) supporting seaport operations.

We propose that the post-deposition oxidation of the IGZO surface is essential for improving the interface quality, with AlO prepared by atomic layer deposition (ALD) employing a common metal precursor trimethylaluminum (TMA). Here, the ALD-AlO process was conducted using HO as an oxidant at a substrate temperature of 150 °C after IGZO deposition. The depth-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) data reveal the defect-rich and poor interface of the standard AlO/IGZO stack due to the redox reaction between the IGZO surface and TMA.

High-performance oxide transistors have recently attracted significant attention for use in various electronic applications, such as displays, sensors, and back-end-of-line transistors. In this study, we demonstrate atomically thin indium-oxide (InO) semiconductors using a solution process for high-performance thin-film transistors (TFTs). This paper reports the fabrication of low-temperature-processable enhancement-mode amorphous oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) using the solution process. This research is a sequential mixed study in which we conducted emotion frequency and content analyses with 20 elderly resident patients in a convalescent hospital.
