The photovoltaic performance of inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs) relies on effectively managing the interface between the hole extraction layer and the light-absorbing perovskite layer. In this study, we have synthesised (4-(3,6-bis(methylthio)-9H-carbazol-9-yl)butyl)phosphonic acid (MeS-4PACz), which forms a self-assembled monolayer on the fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) electrode. The molecule's methylthio substituents generate a favourable interfacial dipole moment and interact with the perovskite layer.

Notably, the inverted structure stands as the preferred fabrication method for the most efficient Sn-Pb PSCs. In this regard, it is imperative to implement a strategic customization of the hole selective layer to facilitate carrier extraction and refine the quality of perovskite films, which requires effective hole selectivity and favorable interactions with Sn-Pb perovskites.

To overcome this problem, we propose the integration of an electron-deficient naphthalene diimide-based zwitterion (NDI-ZI) as the cathode interlayer. Compared to the physical ion-blocking layer, it effectively captures ions by forming ionic bonds electrostatic Coulombic interaction to suppress the migration of iodide and Ag ions.

Although the direct generation of circularly polarized emission from perovskites would enable various compact devices, achieving a large degree of circular polarization (DCP) at room temperature still remains challenging. Herein, we demonstrate that DCP can be strongly enhanced at the narrow mode position of chiral Fano resonances.

However, the blue perovskite LEDs based on the bulk halide perovskites have been rarely researched and showed low efficiencies. The bulk blue perovskite LEDs suffered from insufficient coverage on the substrate due to the low solubility of the inorganic Cl sources or damaged by the structural instability with participation of organic cations.

Here, the factors that affect the width of the emission spectra of PeNCs are analyzed with controlled synthesis and surface passivation treatment. The overall spectra are governed by the size of PeNCs; however, the width could be narrowed by surface passivation treatment.
