Autoimmune glial fibrillary acidic protein astrocytopathy (GFAP-A) is a new type of autoimmune astrocytopathy first defined in 2016. Lack of clinical understanding, often misdiagnosed as optic neuromyelitis or multiple sclerosis. We report the clinical and MRI findings of an elderly patient with autoimmune glial fibrillary acidic protein astrocytopathy.

Chordoid glioma is a rare intracranial tumour, which usually occurs in middle-aged female patients, mainly in the third ventricle, hypothalamus and suprasellar region. It can reportedly occur in the temporal-parietal lobe, occipital horn of the lateral ventricle and left thalamus. Here, we report a case of chordoid glioma in the thalamic region of a female child, which is different from the previously reported chordoid glioma in the left thalamus.

Objective: To study the immunomodulatory effect of Part III of Cynomorium songaricum Rupr. on the immunosuppressive mice.

Methods: The immunity-deficiency model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide (CTX) at the dose of 100 mg/kg in mice; all the animals were divided into normal control group, immunity-deficiency model group, Part III treated group (300 mg/kg) and positive control group (TSPG, 300 mg/kg).
