Numerous bioactive compounds containing carbonyl groups, including aldehydes and ketones, are widely acknowledged as potential biomarkers for several diseases and are implicated in the development of metabolic disorders. However, the detection of carbonyl metabolites is hindered by challenges, such as poor ionization efficiency, low biological concentration, instability, and complexity of the sample matrix. To overcome these limitations, we developed a Girard derivatization-based enrichment (GDBE) strategy for capturing and comprehensively profiling carbonyl metabolites in biological samples.

However, the comprehensive profiling of endogenous NAEs in complex biological matrices is challenging due to their low abundance, structural similarity and the limited availability of commercial standards. Here, we propose an integrated strategy for comprehensive profiling of NAEs that combines chemical derivatization and a three-dimensional (3D) prediction model based on quantitative structure-retention time relationship (QSRR) using liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution tandem mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS).

Objective: To investigate the effect of MELK inhibitor OTSSP167 against diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
Methods: The effect of OTSSP167 on activity, proliferation, and apoptosis of DLBCL cell line (SUDHL2 and HBL1) was detected by CCK-8 assay, 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) staining, and Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining, respectively. DLBCL cells were inoculated into nude mice, after 4 weeks of OTSSP167 treatment, the effect of OTSSP167 on DLBCL growth was detected.
The realization of automated chemical experiments by robots unveiled the prelude to an artificial intelligence (AI) laboratory. Several AI-based systems or robots with specific chemical skills have been demonstrated, but conducting all-round scientific research remains challenging. Here, we present an all-round AI-Chemist equipped with scientific data intelligence that is capable of performing basic tasks generally required in chemical research.

Background: Cuproptosis has recently been considered a novel form of programmed cell death. To date, long-chain non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) crucial to the regulation of this process remain unelucidated.
Aim: To identify lncRNAs linked to cuproptosis in order to estimate patients' prognoses for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Background: Hands are one of the most common burn sites in children. Hypertrophic scar contractures in hands after wound healing result in further reductions in their range of motion (ROM), motility, and fine motor activities. Rehabilitation can improve the function of hands.
