Introduction: Incidences of stroke are on the rise and approximately 80 million stroke survivors worldwide live with disabilities. Supportive care needs of stroke survivors are not adequately defined, and the assessment tools to help care service providers identify these needs are unclear. The overall aim of this scoping review will be to map the supportive care needs of stroke survivors against the Supportive Care Needs Framework.

The present study was conducted to explore the potential effect of elevated progesterone in follicular fluid (FF) on ovulation in endometriosis. A prospective study including 50 ovarian endometriosis patients and 50 control patients with matched pairs design was conducted with alterations in FF and peritoneal fluid (PF) components identified by metabolomics analyses and differentially expressed genes in granulosa cells (GCs) identified by transcriptome analysis.

In order to develop a high sensitive and low cost metal elements analysis method for aqueous sample, an ultrasonic nebulizer assisted spark induced breakdown spectroscopy (UN-SIBS) system is established, where an ultrasonic nebulizer is employed to transform the bulk liquid sample into aerosol composed by intensive droplets. And a high tension coil and a couple of electrodes are combined to induce the plasma. The spectra emitted are collected to analysis the metal elements in the aqueous samples.

It converts inulin into high-fructose syrups and fructoligosaccharides, both of which are widely used in pharmaceutical and food industries. In this study, the kcINU1 gene (GenBank accession number AF178979) encoding an exoinulinase was cloned from Kluyveromyces cicerisporus CBS4857 and expressed in Pichia pastoris X-33, yielding a maximum of 45.

In order to develop a method to analyze the metal elements in the thin film samples rapidly, directly and without sample preparation, a laboratory LIBS system was established recently for nanometer film analysis. This system could determine the position of sample plane, observe the profiles of sample after pulse-material interaction and detect the plasma morphologyand spectral emission at the same time. Samplesused were ZrO2 films about 40 nm thickness prepared on Si by a sol-gel process, and they were located on a manual X-Y-Z translational stage with theaccuracy of 0.

Objective: To investigate the effect of aquaporin 5(AQP5) on proliferation and migration of ectopic endometrial epithelial cells.
Methods: AQP5 shRNA interference fragments were designed and transfected into ectopic endometrial epithelial cells stably by lentivirus technology. Fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the AQP5 mRNA and protein expression, respectively.
Aquaporin (AQP)-dependent cell migration has broad implications in angiogenesis, tumor metastasis, wound healing, glial scarring and other events requiring cell movement. There are 13 isoforms of AQP (0-12) that have been identified in mammals. It is unclear whether AQP5 plays a role in the development of endometrial cancer.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of PRL-3 siRNA (small interfering RNA) on the migration of endometriotic stromal cells.
Methods: Primary endometriotic stromal cells were cultured in vitro. Then PRL-3 (phosphatase of regenerating liver-3) siRNA was transfected to silence the PRL-3 gene.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between IL-10 promoter gene polymorphism and the susceptibility to endometriosis (EMs) in Chinese population. Amplification refractory mutation system polymerase chain reactions (ARMS-PCR) and DNA sequencing were performed to detect polymorphism of -1082G/A site and PCR-RFLP was used to determine the genotypes in -819T/C and -592A/C sites. One hundred and nineteen Chinese women with different stage EMs and 120 controls were employed in this study.

The interaction between vincristine (VCR) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectra at 296, 303 and 310 K, respectively. With fluorescence quenching method, the binding constants Ka were determined to be 1.5 x 10(4) L x mol(-1), 9.

The binding reaction of colchicine with human serum albumin (HSA) was studied by UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence and circular dichroism spectrometry. The results indicated that colchicine led to the increase in UV absorption and the quenching of intrinsic fluorescence of HSA. As the temperature increased, the quenching constant Ksv decreased.

The analysis technique of fluorescence is adopted to study the intensity of excitation fluorescence of blood in the present paper. The theoretical analysis and differences of normal and abnormal blood (hyperglycemia, hyperlipemia) are presented. The theoretical analysis was proved by experiment results.
