Article Synopsis
  • - The study aimed to evaluate the impact of a complex rehabilitation (CR) program and complex decongestive therapy (CDT) on lymphedema, physical function, and quality of life in 40 patients post-gynecologic cancer surgery.
  • - Participants were divided into two groups: one receiving only CDT and the other receiving a combination of CDT and CR, with assessments conducted before and after four weeks of treatment.
  • - Results showed that both groups experienced improvements in edema, fatigue, and pain, but the CRCDT group had better gains in physical function and muscle strength, indicating that CR benefits patients without worsening edema.
