- Echocardiography measured the aortic root and left ventricle sizes in 151 participants, including 122 athletes and 29 non-athletes.
- Findings showed that female athletes had larger Valsalva sinus diameters than non-athletes and that strength athletes had larger aortic root sizes compared to endurance athletes, with significant correlations found between aortic root measurements and left ventricle parameters.
