Comminuted scapular body fractures: A report of three cases managed conservatively in chiropractic settings.

Fractures of the scapula are relatively uncommon. Fractures specific to the scapular body comprise 35-65% of these fractures. Currently, 99% of all isolated scapular body fractures are being treated nonoperatively with an immobilizing sling or brace and some form of manual therapy with an 86% success rate.
