Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness. It is a prevalent disease worldwide, affecting ∼70 million people and expected to reach up to 112 million by 2040. The aim of this study is to describe the implementation and initial experience of a telemedicine program to monitor glaucoma and glaucoma suspect patients in a large, integrated health care system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
