Camera traps became the main observational method of a myriad of species over large areas. Data sets from camera traps can be used to describe the patterns and monitor the occupancy, abundance, and richness of wildlife, essential information for conservation in times of rapid climate and land-cover changes. Habitat loss and poaching are responsible for historical population losses of mammals in the Atlantic Forest biodiversity hotspot, especially for medium to large-sized species.

Background: The purpose of this network meta-analysis (NMA) is to investigate the efficacy of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy on pain intensity and disability of older people with chronic nonspecific low back pain, providing comprehensive evidence for an informed decision-making.
Methods: We will perform a systematic search to identify randomized controlled trials of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for older people with chronic nonspecific low back pain. MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Embase, AMED, PsycINFO, and PEDro will be searched without language or date restrictions.
In this work three Ni complexes with general formula [NiCl(PhP-N(R)-PPh)], R = 2-CHPy (Py = pyridine) - 1, CHPh (Ph = phenyl) - 2 and p-tol (p-tol = p-tolyl) - 3, were synthesized and characterized. These complexes were obtained in high yield by the reaction of NiCl.6HO and the corresponding diphenylphosphinoamine ligand (PhP-N(R)-PPh) in CHCl/MeOH (1:1) solution, at room temperature (∼25 °C), and characterized by H and P {H} NMR, vibrational spectroscopy in the infrared region, electronic spectroscopy in the UV-Vis regions, elemental analysis (%C, %H, %N) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

The Neotropical region hosts 4225 freshwater fish species, ranking first among the world's most diverse regions for freshwater fishes. Our NEOTROPICAL FRESHWATER FISHES data set is the first to produce a large-scale Neotropical freshwater fish inventory, covering the entire Neotropical region from Mexico and the Caribbean in the north to the southern limits in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Uruguay. We compiled 185,787 distribution records, with unique georeferenced coordinates, for the 4225 species, represented by occurrence and abundance data.

The occurrence of the species of the genus Brycon (Characiformes: Bryconidae) in Esprito Santo State is herein reviewed. Brycon opalinus, a species formerly known only from the upper rio Paraba do Sul and upper rio Doce basins, is recorded for the first time in the rio Itapemirim, an independent coastal basin in southern Esprito Santo State, Brazil. With the records of B.

Complexes with general formula [RuCl(η6-p-cymene)(P-NR-P)]X (R = CH2Py (Py = pyridine) - [1a]+, CH2Ph (Ph = phenyl) - [1b]+, Ph - [1c] and p-tol (p-tol = p-tolyl) - [1d]+; X = PF6- or BF4-) were evaluated as cytotoxic agents against two cancer cell lines (HeLa and MDA-MB-231). All metal complexes are active in the range of concentrations tested (up to 100 μmol L-1). The IC50 (μmol L-1) values for the metal complexes are lower than that found for cisplatin.

However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no PNP-containing ruthenium complexes applied as metallodrugs. Thus, this study focused on the synthesis, characterization and anti-MTb activity of a new series of coordination compounds with general formula [RuCl(η-p-cymene)(PNP)]X (R=CHPy (Py=pyridine)-[1a], CHPh (Ph=phenyl)-[1b], Ph-[1c] and p-tol (p-tol=p-tolyl)-[1d]; X=PF or BF).

Method: This is a descriptive, retrospective study with documentary analysis of 1000 medical records and a checklist conducted from July to September 2014, at a maternity hospital in Paraiba, Brazil. It consisted of analysing descriptive measures and comparing the relationship between nursing diagnoses and interventions using NANDA - International and the Nursing Interventions Classification.
Objective: To evaluate effects of overweight on spirometric parameters in adolescents who underwent bronchial provocation test for exercise.
Methods: We included 71 male adolescents. The diagnosis of asthma was done based on participants' clinical history and on the International Study Questionnaire Asthma and Allergies in Childhood, and the diagnosis of obesity was based on body mass index above 95th percentile.
The genus Ransonia Blandin, 1979 (Arachnida: Araneae) was established with description of a new species, Ransonia mahasoana of the family Pisauridae (Arachnida: Araneae) endemic from Mahasoa, Madagascar. Unfortunately, this name is preoccupied by Ransonia Kramp, 1947, a genus of the family Rhopalonematidae (Hydrozoa: Trachymedusae) with only one species, Ransonia (Aglantha) krampi Ranson (1932), from Gibraltar, Mediterranean. According to article 60 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature a new substitute name is necessary, since Ransonia Blandin, 1979 does not have a junior synonym applicable and is a junior homonym of another genus.

In the present study, these extracts were subjected to microdilution broth assay (MDBA) and disk diffusion assay (DDA) using planktonic Enterococcus faecalis ATCC(®) 29212™ and were submitted to phytochemical analysis in TLC and HPLC. Three extracts obtained from Ipomoea alba (MIC < 40 μg/mL), Diclinanona calycina (MIC ≤ 40 μg/mL) and Moronobea coccinea (40 < MIC < 80 μg/mL; MBC = 80 μg/mL) showed significant bactericidal activity in the MDBA and four extracts obtained from I.

The present study was performed to assess the electromyographic activity of the scapular muscles during push-ups on a stable and unstable surface, in subjects with scapular dyskinesis. Muscle activation (upper trapezius [UT]; lower trapezius [LT]; upper serratus anterior [SA_5th]; lower serratus anterior [SA_7th]) and ratios (UT/LT; UT/SA_5th; UT/ SA_7th) levels were determined by surface EMG in 30 asymptomatic men with scapular dyskinesis, during push-up performed on a stable and unstable surface. Multivariate analysis of variance with repeated measures was used for statistical analyses.

Unlabelled: Caries is a global public health problem, whose control requires the introduction of low-cost treatments, such as strong prevention strategies, minimally invasive techniques and chemical prevention agents. Nature plays an important role as a source of new antibacterial substances that can be used in the prevention of caries, and Brazil is the richest country in terms of biodiversity.
