In recent years, there has been a growing demand for plant-based products from omnivorous consumers seeking a healthier and more sustainable diet, but sensory issues can still impact the consumption experience. Since food denomination and labeling can play a crucial role in consumer expectation and perception, investigating these interactions is essential. Thus, this study investigated the influence of plant-based product denominations on consumer expectations and sensory perceptions.

Predictive factors for recording the death of women of childbearing age in the Hospital Information System (SIH/SUS), Brazil, 2012-2020.

Objective: To estimate the death registration coverage of women of childbearing age (WCA) in the Hospital Information System (SIH), according to the hospital of occurrence and to verify the predictors associated with coverage.

Methods: Descriptive ecological study with public data from SIH, Mortality Information System (SIM) and National Registry of Health Establishments (CNES), 2012-2020. Deaths in WCA hospitalizations in SIH were compared to those in SIM.

Human T-lymphotropic virus 1/2 infection among prisoners of a major penitentiary complex of Goiás State, Central-West Brazil.

Introduction: Studies on human T-lymphotropic virus 1/2 (HTLV-1/2) infection are scarce in incarcerated population. Therefore, this study estimated the prevalence of HTLV-1/2 infection among prisoners of the major penitentiary complex of Goiás State, Central-West Brazil, comparing it with available data from other Brazilian regions.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 910 prisoners of the major penitentiary complex in the State of Goiás, Central-West Brazil.

The main goal of this study was to determine the Na/K-ATPase activity and expression in thawed sperm of high (HF)- and low-fertility (LF) Angus bulls. Brazilian studies involving overt and occult infection (OBI) in this population are still scarce despite the vulnerability of people deprived of liberty to hepatitis B. Therefore, this study estimated the prevalence of HBV infection (overall and OBI) in individuals deprived of liberty in prisons in Central-Western Brazil.

This biome was highlighted in 2020 due to the record number of fire foci and burned areas registered. Thus, this study aimed to understand how changes in LULC and climate affect the spatial, temporal and magnitude dynamics of fire foci.

Shaping efficiency of XP-endo shaper and Mtwo instruments in long oval root canals: A micro-CT study.

This study evaluated the shaping ability of XP-endo Shaper and Mtwo systems in long-oval-shaped canals of extracted human mandibular molars using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). Images recorded before and after preparation were evaluated for morphometric measures regarding increase in canal volume, dentin removed, surface area, untouched walls and structure model index (SMI). Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernia (PPDH) is a communication between the abdomen and the pericardial sac generated by congenital anomalies triggered during diaphragmatic and pericardial development. The aim of this work is to prepare ultraviolet (UV) triggered controlled release of compounds from microcapsule systems (MCs). Polyurethane (PU) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microcapsules were studied with/without chemical functionalization using photocatalytic TiO nanoparticles (NPs) on their surface.
