Article Synopsis
  • A 37-year-old woman with a history of psychosis was hospitalized in 2007, presenting symptoms of polyarthritis and severe skin lesions causing necrosis and ulceration on her limbs.
  • She was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and tested positive for lupus anticoagulant, indicating secondary antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).
