Objective: To identify possibilities for developing teaching community of practice as a permanent training strategy for teaching in vocational nursing education.
Method: This is a qualitative action research, carried out with vocational training professors and pedagogical coordination of a Unified Health System Vocational School of Ceará. Data were collected by focus groups and submitted to Bardin's content analysis, supported by the Qualitative Data Analysis Software.
Objective: to describe the training-professional profile of nursing professors in the vocational course in nursing at the Technical Schools of the Unified Health System.
Methods: a quantitative descriptive research, carried out with 61 nurses who are professors of technical courses in nursing at five technical schools in three Brazilian regions. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and submitted to descriptive analysis.
Objectives: to know the organizational and pedagogical characteristics of vocational courses in nursing of Unified Health System Vocational Schools in northeastern Brazil.
Methods: this is a qualitative, descriptive study, developed in six schools that offer this course. As a data source, Pedagogical Political Project and Teaching Plans were used to search for information on courses' organizational and pedagogical characteristics through indirect documentation, using three structured scripts.
Objective: To analyze nursing education in the Technical Schools of the Unified Health System in the Northeastern region of Brazil.
Method: A documentary study with a qualitative approach, having its locus as Technical Schools of the Unified Health System in the Northeast Region which offer the technical course in nursing. Data sources were the Pedagogical Political Projects of the school and the Teaching Plans of the referred courses, and three structured scripts on the pedagogical aspects of training were used as instruments.
