  • The study analyzed the Argentinean version of the Personality Assessment Inventory using two samples: 998 non-clinical adults and 394 University of Buenos Aires students, stratified by sex and age.
  • The internal consistency results (Cronbach's αs between .60 and .86) were deemed adequate, and the factor analyses revealed a five-factor solution for 22 scales and a two-factor solution for 11 clinical scales.
  • The research indicated sex differences and variations between American and Argentinean samples, suggesting the need for further exploration of psychometric indicators in future studies.
