The purpose of this review was to synthesize the available literature on breast cancer-screening barriers, facilitators, and interventions among U.S. African immigrants.

This concomitant phase may cause severe image artifacts like signal voids or distort the quantitative parameters due to the induced intravoxel dephasing. In particular, double diffusion encoding (DDE) schemes with two pairs of bipolar diffusion-weighting gradients separated by a refocusing radiofrequency (RF) pulse are prone to concomitant field-induced artifacts.

Mostly, apparent diffusion coefficient maps are acquired, which cannot be related directly to cellular structure. More recently it was shown that DWI is able to reconstruct pore shapes using a specialized magnetic field gradient scheme so that cell size distributions may be obtained.

The method is based on changes in the reflection coefficient of the device induced by these dielectric constant variations of the surrounding medium. To that end, several Yagi-Uda-like antenna designs with different size limitations were simulated by using a Method-of-Moments software and optimized by means of a simulated annealing strategy.
