[Structured triage in the emergency department via intelligent assistant service OPTINOFA : Results of a multicenter, cluster-randomized and controlled interventional study in Germany].

In Germany, a substantial reform of emergency care is strictly recommended. Regulation of patient flows into the ambulatory and stationary sectors remains a major issue.In the OPTINOFA project funded by Innovationsfunds, a new triage system was developed for a structured primary evaluation of both urgency and care level of emergency cases.

A multimodal aftercare intervention improves the outcome after kidney transplantation - results of the KTx360° aftercare program using claims data.

Background: The after-care treatment project KTx360° aimed to reduce graft failure and mortality after kidney transplantation (KTx).

Methods: The study was conducted in the study centers Hannover, Erlangen and Hannoversch Muenden from May 2017 to October 2020 under the trial registration ISRCTN29416382. The program provided a multimodal aftercare program including specialized case management, telemedicine support, psychological and exercise assessments, and interventions.

Understanding the challenges faced by Michigan's family farmers: race/ethnicity and the impacts of a pandemic.

Michigan is a critical agricultural state, and small family farms are a crucial component of the state's food sector. This paper examines how the race/ethnicity of the family farm owners/operators is related to farm characteristics, financing, and impacts of the pandemic. It compares 75 farms owned/operated solely by Whites and 15 with People of Color owners/operators.
