Isolated 17,20-lyase deficiency (ILD) is a partial form of 17α-hydroxylase/17,20-lyase deficiency that typically presents with infertility and lack of pubertal development. Successful live births have been achieved using assisted reproductive techniques. We present a case of spontaneous pregnancy in an 18-year-old female with ILD without reproduction treatments or glucocorticoid use.

Background: Many original articles and case series have been published emphasizing the neuroimaging findings of congenital Zika virus (ZIKV) infection. The majority of these studies do not follow a neuroradiological methodology to describe malformations and brain abnormalities resulting from ZIKV infection. The cause-and-effect correlation between the gestational period of maternal infection and the severity of encephalic changes at birth has rarely been reported.

Background: Chagas disease is a serious public health issue in South and Central America due to its high prevalence, morbidity, and mortality.
