[Update hepatitis D].

The relevance of chronic hepatitis delta results from its high morbidity. Prevalence of hepatitis D decreases in classic endemic areas of the Mediterranean Basin, but increases in Eastern European countries. Hepatitis D is mainly a disease of immigrants in Germany.
