Longitudinal MR-based proton-density fat fraction (PDFF) and T2* for the assessment of associations between bone marrow changes and myelotoxic chemotherapy.

Objectives: MR imaging-based proton density fat fraction (PDFF) and T2* imaging has shown to be useful for the evaluation of degenerative changes in the spine. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the influence of myelotoxic chemotherapy on the PDFF and T2* of the thoracolumbar spine in comparison to changes in bone mineral density (BMD).

Methods: In this study, 19 patients were included who had received myelotoxic chemotherapy (MC) and had received a MR imaging scan of the thoracolumbar vertebrates before and after the MC.

[Prevalence of Disturbed Eating Behavior in Children and Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes: Assessment and Comparison to Healthy Peers--Results of a Multicenter Questionnaire-based Study].

Introduction: Published data on prevalence of disturbed eating behavior in youth with type 1 diabetes are heterogeneous. This study assesses the prevalence rate of disturbed eating behavior in a representative German sample of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. The prevalence rate is compared to the one published for a national sample of healthy peers.

Antibodies after botulinum toxin A injection into musculus detrusor vesicae: incidence and clinical relevance.

Objectives: Botulinum toxin A (BTX-A) injection into the detrusor muscle has changed therapy options for patients with overactive bladder (OAB). However, in some patients, therapy fails or the effects of BTX-A decrease. The aim of this prospective study was to evaluate the incidence of BTX-A antibodies (BTX-A Abs) after injection of BTX-A and its clinical relevance.
