The erector spinae plane block is a safe and effective regional anesthesia technique, which has earned new indications perioperatively since its description. We introduce two pediatric anesthesia cases in which we performed the erector spinae plane block during intermediate/major orthopedic surgeries. The first patient is a 2 year-old girl submitted to surgical treatment of developmental dysplasia of the hip.
