Urachal cancer (UrC) is a rare disease which is mostly diagnosed late due to symptoms caused by its local invasion to the urinary bladder. Given the lack of clinical trials and guideline recommendations for systemic treatment, a molecularly informed precision oncology approach is a viable option for UrC already in the early lines of systemic treatment. While single case experiences may provide valuable reference for later decision-making, well-documented clinical experience with off-label targeted treatments is limited to a few patients.

Introduction: Low gradient (LG) aortic stenosis (AS) poses a diagnostic challenge. Aortic valve calcium score (AVCS) assessment has emerged as a complementary diagnostic method when echocardiography provides discordant results. However, the diagnostic and prognostic value of AVCS in LGAS has not been thoroughly studied.

Purpose: We aimed to identify the optimal reconstruction settings based on qualitative and quantitative image quality parameters on standard and ultra-high resolution (UHR) images using photon-counting CT (PCCT).

Method: We analysed 45 patients, 29 with standard and 16 with UHR acquisition, applying both smoother and sharper kernel settings. Coronary CT angiography images were performed on a dual-source PCCT system using standard (0.

Background: Coronary low-attenuation plaque (LAP) burden is a strong predictor of myocardial infarction in patients with stable chest pain. We aimed to assess the relationship between LAP burden and circulating levels of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT), and to explore the potential underlying etiology in patients undergoing clinically indicated coronary CT angiography (CCTA).

Methods: A comprehensive metabolic and lipid panel, as well as C-reactive protein (CRP) and hs-cTnT tests were obtained from consecutive patients with stable chest pain at the time of CCTA.

Background: Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a type of jawbone necrosis caused by the use of drugs for some types of cancer and osteoporosis. The current study aimed to evaluate the associations between hyperglycemia and the development of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw.

Methods: Our research group investigated data collected between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020.

Introduction: The diagnosis of paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes is challenging when the primary tumor masquerades as scar tissue (i.e. "burned-out").

Bladder cancer is the most common malignancy of the urinary tract. It can be divided into non-muscle invasive and muscle-invasive groups according to depth of tumor invasion. Based on the significant differences regarding their biological behavior, propensity to progress, and therapy responsiveness these two groups are discussed seperately.

Background And Purpose: We aimed to investigate the association between fluoxetine use and the survival of hospitalised coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pneumonia patients.

Methods: This retrospective case-control study used data extracted from the medical records of adult patients hospitalised with moderate or severe COVID-19 pneumonia at the Uzsoki Teaching Hospital of the Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary between 17 March and 22 April 2021. As a part of standard medical treatment, patients received anti-COVID-19 therapies as favipiravir, remdesivir, baricitinib or a combination of these drugs; and 110 of them received 20 mg fluoxetine capsules once daily as an adjuvant medication.

Two ion populations of protonated Rivaroxaban, [CHClNOS + H], are separated under pure N conditions using differential mobility spectrometry prior to characterization in a hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap mass spectrometer. These populations are attributed to bare protonated Rivaroxaban and to a proton-bound Rivaroxaban-ammonia complex, which dissociates prior to mass-selecting the parent ion. Ultraviolet photodissociation (UVPD) and collision-induced dissociation (CID) studies indicate that both protonated Rivaroxaban ion populations are comprised of the computed global minimum prototropic isomer.

Introduction: Urothelial cancer can develop in the renal pelvis, ureters, bladder and the proximal urethra as urothelial tissue can be found in these organs. Upper tract urothelial carcinoma is rare but better understanding of the natural history of the disease is important because bladder recurrence often occurs after radical nephroureterectomy.

Aim And Method: Our retrospective study aims to describe the general characteristics of patients treated with radical nephroureterectomy at the Department of Urology, Semmelweis University, between January 1st, 2005 and December 31st, 2016.

Characterizing the developmental trajectories of cognitive functions such as learning, memory and decision making across the lifespan faces fundamental challenges. Cognitive functions typically encompass several processes that can be differentially affected by age. Methodological issues also arise when comparisons are made across age groups that differ in basic performance measures, such as in average response times (RTs).

Background: In 2010, a safety signal was detected for narcolepsy following vaccination with Pandemrix, an AS03-adjuvanted monovalent pandemic H1N1 influenza (pH1N1) vaccine. To further assess a possible association and inform policy on future use of adjuvants, we conducted a multi-country study of narcolepsy and adjuvanted pH1N1 vaccines.

Methods: We used electronic health databases to conduct a dynamic retrospective cohort study to assess narcolepsy incidence rates (IR) before and during pH1N1 virus circulation, and after pH1N1 vaccination campaigns in Canada, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Introduction: Extracting and acquiring sequential regularities from the environment is a fundamental human ability that underlies the acquisition of various motor, social and cognitive skills. As psychiatric rehabilitation often depends on the integrity of these skills, it is crucial to understand individual differences in sequence learning. Here we aimed to test age- and gender-related differences in sequence learning as well as in the consolidation of the acquired knowledge.

Background: Octogenarians represent an increasing percentage of patients with coronary heart disease and are an inherently high-risk population. We sought to define the immediate and long-term results of coronary stenting in the "real-world" environment of a community teaching hospital.

Methods: One hundred ninety-seven consecutive patients older then 80 years who underwent 214 coronary stent procedures were studied.

Objective: Assessment of contemporary in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation outcomes.

Methods: The study was designed as a retrospective, single-institution, registry investigation of all adult patients for whom a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was attempted between October 1, 2002 and September 30, 2004. Hospital, patient's, arrest and outcome variables were included based on the "Utstein Style" of reviewing, reporting, and conducting research on in-hospital resuscitation.

This study reviewed our experience with the long-term patency of the right internal mammary coronary artery (RIMA) bypass graft in 58 patients over 1 year. Thirty-one percent (n = 18) of patients had obstructive lesions in the RIMA. In vessels with any lesion, the percent stenosis was 85.
