9-Amino-9-phosphabicyclo[3.3.1]nonanes, (PhobPNHR'; R = Me or (i)Pr) are readily prepared by aminolysis of PhobPCl and are significantly less susceptible to hydrolysis than the acyclic analogues Cy2PNHR'.
