The BMT CTN 1703 phase III trial confirmed that graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis with post-transplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCy), tacrolimus (Tac), and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) results in superior GVHD-free, relapse-free survival (GRFS) compared with Tac/methotrexate (MTX) prophylaxis. This companion study assesses the effect of these regimens on patient-reported outcomes (PROs). The differentiation of valence states plays a crucial role in determining the toxicity of chromium (Cr) in environmental samples. In this work, two modes of colorimetric and electrochemical analytical methods based on a fungus like porous CoS (FP CoS) nanosensor were developed for rapid, specific, and portable detection trace/ultra-trace chromium species (Cr(VI) and Cr(III)). The FP CoS exhibited peroxidase activity as a nanozyme for the colorimetric detection of Cr(VI), catalyzing the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to a blue oxidation product (oxTMB) in the presence of Cr(VI) instead of unstable HO as an oxidizer at room temperature over existing methods.

Silicosis is a systemic disease marked by diffuse pulmonary fibrosis resulting from prolonged inhalation of crystalline silica (CS) dust. This study aimed to examine the effects of anisodamine (ANI) on pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis in silicosis, as well as to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. Animal experiments demonstrated that ANI significantly reduced alveolar structure damage and the formation of silicosis nodules in affected mice, as confirmed by pathological slides.

A platform was developed to accurately detect the content of ofloxacin (OFX) based on molecularly imprinted polypyrrole-MWCNTs-OH/1,3,5-Tris(4-aminophenyl) benzene (TAPB)-2,5-dimethoxybenzene-1,4-dicarboxaldehyde (DMTP)-covalent organic framework (MIP-MWCNTs-OH/COF)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) sensor (MIP-MWCNTs-OH/COF/GCE). The complex of MWCNTs-OH and COF synergistically enhanced the active area and electrochemical signal, based on which a molecularly imprinted membrane was polymerized on its surface to further improve the selectivity.
