Subcutaneous vs intravenous abatacept in rheumatoid arthritis-interstitial lung disease. National multicentre study of 397 patients.

Background: Evidence on abatacept (ABA) utility for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) - associated interstitial lung disease (ILD) is growing. Clinical trials have shown equivalence in subcutaneous (SC) and intravenous (IV) administration of ABA for articular manifestations. However, this has not been studied in respiratory outcomes.

Noninfectious aortitis: Experience with tocilizumab in a regional hospital.

Objectives: Describe patients with noninfectious aortitis and their response to treatment in a regional hospital.

Methods: Review of patients with noninfectious aortitis, diagnostic technique used and immunosuppressive therapy received.

Results: We report 8 patients (7 women and one man) diagnosed with aortitis by positron emission tomography (PET).

Certolizumab Pegol, a New Anti-TNF-α in the Armamentarium against Ocular Inflammation.

Purpose: To study the efficacy and tolerance of certolizumab pegol (CZP) in active uveitis.

Methods: Retrospective case series at 4 referral centers. Patients treated with CZP for active uveitis during at least 6 months were eligible.
