Multiple myeloma (MM) diagnosis requires ≥10% plasma cell (PC) infiltration in the bone marrow (BM), detected by bone marrow aspiration (BMA) or biopsy (BMB). We evaluated the concordance of these 2 techniques in 189 patients. In 43 cases (23%), the techniques were discordant, 10 due to poor sample quality.

Early recognition and referral to surgery is important because nonsurgically treated tumors have a poor prognosis. Here, we describe a case of pulmonary artery sarcoma diagnosed with multimodal imaging, which also aided in surgical planning.

Monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphomas (MEITLs) are rare neoplasms that carry a poor prognosis. MEITLs originating in the duodenum are uncommon. There are only 3 published case reports of primary duodenal MEITLs.

The disease incurs a high risk for the development of cardiovascular complications, and takes its toll in regard to the gut-liver axis (pancreas, primary liver and colorectal)-associated immunity. The modulation of immunometabolic responses by immunonutritional factors (IFs) has emerged as a key determinant of the gut-liver axis' metabolic and immune health.

In this study, we show that the mutation causes a striking depletion of Ysh1, the evolutionarily conserved endonuclease subunit of the 19-subunit mRNA Cleavage/Polyadenylation (C/P) complex, but does not decrease other C/P subunits. overexpression rescues both the growth and 3' end processing defects of the mutant.

The materials exhibit a relatively high density (0.56 g per 1 g SiO) of benzalkonium chloride (BAC), pore channels of 18 Å in width, and a high surface area (1500 m/g).
