Medicine often employs the 4Ps of , and factors to identify salient influences on illness states, and to help guide patient care. Mental illness is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Mental health is a complex combination of biological, psychological, environmental, and social factors.

Methods: 12 mm × 6 mm antibiotic bone cement samples were created by vacuum mixing 0-4 g of vancomycin, tobramycin, and combinations of the two in 0.5 g increments per one pouch (40 g) of Palacos LV cement.
Objectives: To assume the ideal cut-off values and diagnostic performance of two thyroid imaging reporting and data systems published by the Korean Thyroid Association/Korean Society of Thyroid Radiology (Korean TI-RADS) and the American Thyroid Association (ATA TI-RADS).
Methods: Eighteen studies with 25,422 patients from PubMed, SCOPUS, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases up to August 2022. True and false positive and negative values with characteristics were extracted.
Autophagy functions in cellular quality control and metabolic regulation. Dysregulation of autophagy is one of the major pathogenic factors contributing to the progression of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Autophagy is involved in the breakdown of intracellular lipids and the maintenance of healthy mitochondria in NAFLD.

Objective: To identify the clinical outcomes of patients with advanced breast cancer who concomitantly use PPIs and palbociclib.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This retrospective cohort study used nationwide claims data between November 1, 2016, and July 31, 2021, in South Korea.
Background: The voice has been thought to be associated with emotions, but conducting large-scale research on this relationship has some limitations. To overcome these limitations, questionnaires have been utilized as a research tool.
Methods: A population-based cross-sectional study was done.
IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a systemic inflammatory disease characterized by IgG4-positive plasma cell and T lymphocyte infiltration of multiple organs. It commonly involves the pancreas, lacrimal glands, and salivary glands, and it has been rarely reported in the sinonasal cavity. We herein report the case of a 47-year-old male patient whose chief complaint was decreased visual acuity.

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review and meta-analysis of the utility values for asthma, particularly with respect to severity and asthma control. A literature search was conducted using the MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials databases for studies published until July, 2020, reporting the utilities of adult asthma.

This study aimed to understand the economic impact of recurrence by measuring healthcare costs and resource utilization in patients with recurrent stage IB-IIIA NSCLC.
Methods: Using Health Insurance Review and Assessment claims data from South Korea, we included patients who underwent complete resection for stage IB-IIIA NSCLC during the index period (January 1, 2012, to October 31, 2018).
Collagen hydrolysate were extracted from Alaska pollock skin using enzymatic (EAE), ultrasound (UAE), or combination of enzymatic and ultrasound (EAE+UAE) treatment. Control (C) was not treated with enzymatic or ultrasound. The extracts from C, EAE, UAE, and EAE+UAE were fractionated with ≤3, 3-10, 10-30, and ≥30 kDa.

Recent findings also suggest that a natural perturbation of the gut microbiota (GM), combined with other factors, may create a unique vulnerability during this period of life. The GM of emerging adults is thought to be simpler, less diverse, and more unstable than either younger or older people.

Pharmacist-led telehealth services were as effective as face-to-face services and reduced potential side effects in outpatients with chronic diseases. This study aims to analyse the effect of a telepharmacy service with a customised mobile device in comparison with the usual pharmacist service on the humanistic and clinical outcomes in patients with RA.

The adhesive hydrogels were fabricated by the site-directed coupling of tyramine-conjugated hyaluronic acid (HA_t, 1% w/v) and gelatin (3% w/v) (HG_gel) with novel tyrosinase derived from Streptomyces avermitilis (SA_Ty). The enzyme-based crosslinking by SA_Ty was fast, with less than 50 s for complete gelation, and the SA_Ty based crosslinking enhanced the physical properties and adhesive strength of the hydrogel significantly with the native tissue samples.

The primary concern in bone drilling is to extract donor bone sections and create receiving holes without damaging the bone tissue either mechanically or thermally. We review current results from experimental and theoretical studies to investigate the parameters related to such effects.

In general, production of phycocyanin depends mainly on the light conditions during the cultivation period, and purification of phycocyanin requires expensive and complex procedures. In this study, we propose a new two-stage cultivation method to maximize the quantitative content and purity of phycocyanin obtained from Spirulina platensis using red and blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) under different light intensities.
