In vitro fertilization, cryopreservation and pre-implantation genetic testing are transformative reproductive technologies offering hope for individuals facing fertility challenges. Scientifically, understanding the science of developmental biology is essential for comprehending the mechanisms and implications of these technologies. In embryological sciences, biological perspectives identify life as a series of developmental stages ranging from conception to viability, each potentially representing a different 'beginning' of life.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of nine face transplant patients. Outcome measures, such as DSA positivity, were determined by the local tissue typing laboratory, whereas C4d deposition was assessed by immunostaining.
Objectives: The primary objective of the current study was to evaluate the correlation between noise-induced annoyance and the cognitive performance within the Lebanese adolescent population and the moderating effect of psychosocial work aspects-namely effort, reward, and overcommitment- in this association.
Methods: An anonymous online survey was conducted in Lebanon between April and May 2023, using a snowball sampling technique and distributed across various social media platforms, to gather data from Lebanese adolescents. The sample was composed of 1269 adolescents.
Background: Job loss is related to morbidity and mortality, but generation of causal evidence is challenging due to confounding factors. Finland suffered a severe economic recession in the early 1990s with unemployment reaching almost 25%, with many job losses due to mass layoff or company closure. Such job displacements are assumed to be exogenous to the individual and create a natural experiment for causal inference.

Background: Prosocial behaviors refer to a variety of voluntary actions intended to benefit others and the society. They have consistently proven their capacity to promote individuals' well-being and personal development. Nevertheless, these constructs remain largely underexplored in the Arab world.

Novel neural networks classify events with diphotons that are merged and determine the diphoton masses. The search uses LHC proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected with the CMS detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}.

Using an exploratory cross-sectional design with a mixed-methods approach, students completed online instruments including a sociodemographic questionnaire, scales measuring various self-efficacy domains (mathematics, self-regulated learning, social and emotional) and open-ended questions about their perceived attributes in learning mathematics. Multiple regression analysis revealed that student characteristics and self-efficacy domains collectively explained 47.

Objective: Real world study to assess impact of furosemide on rates of postpartum hypertension and readmissions for patients with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
Rejection monitoring in facial vascularized composite allotransplantation traditionally focuses on skin biopsies. However, mucosal rejection frequently presents with more pronounced signs of immune activity. To explore mechanistic differences between skin and mucosal rejection, rejection and nonrejection biopsies from allograft skin and oral mucosa of 9 facial vascularized composite allotransplantation recipients were retrospectively analyzed using histology, multiplex immunostaining, and gene expression profiling, with peripheral blood mononuclear cells quantified via mass cytometry.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we administered the 26-item Swedish Moral Distress Scale-Revised (sMDS-R), specifically revised and validated for pediatric oncology, in conjunction with the Clinical Ethics Needs Assessment Survey (CENAS). Electronic surveys were sent to inpatient and outpatient PHO nurses.
Background/objectives: Lebanon, one of the oldest centers of grapevine ( L.) cultivation, is home to a rich diversity of local grape varieties. This biodiversity is linked to the country's unique topography and millennia of cultural history.

Moreover, curcumin is very unstable and tends to degrade quickly. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have gained great attention in the field of drug loading due to their diversity and tunability, so they are seen as great candidates for hosting curcumin.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is an effective prevention measure, yet global challenges persist, including limited awareness of PrEP among healthcare professionals. This study investigates PrEP awareness within the Lebanese medical community.

We present a case where lower limb ischemia revealed this leukemia in a child.
Case Report: An 11-year-old with minor ankle trauma developed severe lower limb ischemia, leading to the discovery of subtotal femoral artery thrombosis.
The present study aimed to determine the relationship between circulating progesterone (P4) concentrations and milk yield during the ovulatory follicular wave on the proportion of multiple ovulation (MOV) in multiparous high-producing Holstein cows (n = 1,345). The study used first-service multiparous cows submitted to a Double-Ovsynch program (GnRH; 7 d later, PGF; 3 d later, GnRH; 7 d later, GnRH [G1]; 7 d later, PGF [PG1]; 1 d later, PGF; ∼32 h later, GnRH [G2]; ∼16 h later, timed AI [TAI]). To assess ovulatory response and proportion of MOV, ovarian ultrasonography examinations were performed at G1 (n = 1,215) and G2 (n = 1,345) and from 40 to 48 h after each GnRH.

This review explores methods for increasing P4 to improve early pregnancy establishment in dairy cattle. A key aspect of P4 supplementation during the critical first weeks of pregnancy is its correlation with successful embryo elongation.

Although DCBs have historically been indicated for patients with in-stent restenosis or de novo small-vessel disease, recent studies indicate the potential for broader applications in acute coronary syndromes (ACSs). Trials comparing DCB and DES treatments show that DCBs yield comparable long-term outcomes, with some studies suggesting reduced rates of secondary endpoints such as cardiac death and non-fatal myocardial infarction among ACS patients treated with DCBs.

Such SUEPs are predicted by hidden valley models with a new, confining force with a large 't Hooft coupling. In events with boosted topologies, selected by high-threshold hadronic triggers, the multiplicity and sphericity of clustered tracks are used to reject the background from standard model quantum chromodynamics.
