A female patient aged 42, started chemotherapy for advanced ovarian carcinoma in June 2016. Considering intraoperative findings, cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) were performed, followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. In March 2018, computed tomography (CT) examination showed disease progression in the form of pleural carcinomatosis with increased levels of tumor markers.

Rationale, Aims And Objectives: This research focuses on Complexity Leadership Theory and the relationship between leadership-examined through the lens of Complexity Leadership Theory-and organizational maturity as an indicator of the performance of health organizations.
Methods: The research adopts a perspective that conceptualizes organizations as complex adaptive systems and draws upon a survey of opinion of 189 managers working in Serbian health organizations.
Results And Conclusions: As the results indicate a dependency between functions of leadership and levels of the maturity of health organizations, we propose a model that connects the two.
The purpose of this article is to explore the possibility of implementing total quality management (TQM) principles in national medicines regulatory authorities in Europe to achieve all public health objectives. Bearing in mind that medicines regulation is a governmental function that serves societal objectives to protect and promote public health, measuring the effective achievement of quality objectives related to public health is of utmost importance. A generic TQM model for meeting public health objectives was developed and was tested on 10 European national medicines regulatory authorities with different regulatory performances.
