Subcategories of Fibromyalgia: A New Concept.

Fibromyalgia has previously been categorized as primary, secondary, and juvenile fibromyalgia. However, these definitions do not adequately explain the etiopathology of disease, nor do they help direct new specific therapies. Herein, we review the previously known categorizations of fibromyalgia.
