The lingual arm cantilever.

The use of cantilevers has been popularized again for use with implant-supported prostheses. A fulcrum, the center of rotation, is usually established on the terminal unit when the cantilever unit moves tissueward (compression) and the anterior units move occlusally (tension). The lingual arm cantilever is another suggested approach that could change the position of the fulcrum forward so that the most distal implant counteracts the rotation.
