Osteoma cutis is a rare disease in which there is formation of bony tissue in the skin that causes deformities. The etiology remains unknown and its treatment is controversial. A rare case of primary osteoma cutis in the face and scalp, which was not associated with any syndrome, is described.

Background: Recurrent rectus diastasis is a troublesome complication because its correction requires an extensive procedure.

Case Reports: Two patients with recurrent rectus diastasis secondary to abdominoplasty corrected by plication of the anterior rectus sheath are presented. These patients had lateral insertion of the rectus muscles.

Abdominal skin hypesthesia may occur after abdominoplasty. The purpose of this study was to find out (1) which sensibility modalities are decreased and (2) which areas of the abdominal wall are affected, so that patients can be warned preoperatively about this condition.
