Purpose: Elevated progesterone (P4) has emerged as a cofounder for embryo quality and recently been investigated in blastocyst aneuploidy rates. In this context, we explored the prevalence of aneuploidy in blastocysts generated from donated eggs according to P4 levels on trigger's day.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed data from intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles using frozen donated oocytes that underwent embryo biopsy (PGT-A) at blastocyst stage.
The objective of the present study was to evaluate biochemical quantitative metabolites in peripheral blood serum samples of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) patients and healthy controls. A cross-sectional study included 33 post-pubertal JIA (21 without and 12 with Methotrexate (MTX) women and 28 age-matched healthy controls. Metabolomic analyses based on targeted electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry were used to identify possible biochemical pathway modifications in serum from JIA patients.

Objective: To identify knowledge and attitudes of deaf women in relation to contraceptive methods.
Method: The authors conducted a systematic review of the literature, PROSPERO registry (CRD42021277635), conducted from August 2021 to April 2024.
Ovarian cancer has the highest mortality rate of all gynecological cancers. Animal models using 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA) have been developed to investigate the mechanisms of ovarian carcinogenesis. The present study is a systematic review of efforts to establish DMBA as a model for ovarian cancer induction in rat models.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of aerobic exercise and resistance training on metabolic markers in postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) by means of a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: The searches were completed using EMBASE, MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases.

Objective: To analyse the understanding of deaf women regarding contraceptive methods.
Method: We conducted a qualitative descriptive study in two referral centres for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in São Paulo, Brazil, trough years 2020-2022. Twenty-eight deaf women who use Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) were interviewed face-to-face and remotely via videocall using a semi-structured questionnaire containing sociodemographic and clinical data and questions about understanding and knowledge of contraceptive methods.
Background: Ovarian cryopreservation is a promising technique despite being hindered by damage from freezing and thawing. Melatonin can mitigate this outcome.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of melatonin on the follicular dynamics of ovarian tissue in a cryopreserved cell culture.

Background: Brazil faces notable Breast Cancer (BC) mortality despite lower incidence rates versus developed countries. Despite guidelines from medical societies, Brazilian public policy recommends biennial mammographic screening for women aged 50 to 69. This study investigates sociodemographic and clinical factors related to BC detection methods and clinical stage at diagnosis.

Gender relations are a set of socially determined norms and rules that assign values, characteristics, and expectations to individuals based on their biological sex. These aspects also influence the clinician-patient relationship, since it has been for a long time based on cisheteronormativity. However, this attitude alienated the LGBTQIA+ community from health services.

Introduction: An accurate assessment of balance problems is critical for decreasing the risk of falling in patients with Parkinson's Disease (PD). Reliable diagnostic tools such as Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) are not feasible for the clinical setting. Therefore, the present study's aim was to assess the correlation between the clinical Balance Evaluation Systems Test (BESTest) and CDP.

Introduction: In the WHO eligibility criteria, there is agreement that hypertensive women taking Oral Contraceptive Hormonal Combined (OCHC) may be at increased risk of cardiovascular disease. The risk-to-benefit ratio hinges on the severity of the condition. While a mild increase in blood pressure is a common occurrence in consumers of OCHC, the potential for developing high blood pressure exists during oral contraceptive use.

Methods: The authors analyzed gene and protein expression profiles of FOXO3a in 56 uterine Leiomyosarcomas (LMS), 119 leiomyomas (comprising conventional and unusual leiomyomas), and 20 Myometrium (MM) samples. The authors used techniques such as Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FISH/CISH, and qRT-PCR for the present analyses.
Introduction And Hypothesis: Internal vaginal pessary is among the leading treatments for pelvic organ prolapse (POP); however, it has a high adverse event rate. An external pessary was recently developed as an alternative. The study's objective was to compare the efficacy of external and internal pessaries in treating POP in postmenopausal women.

Introduction: Advanced Glycation End-Products (AGEs) are a diverse group of highly reactive molecules that play a vital role in the development of neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson's Disease (PD), leading to a decline in functional and cognitive capacity. The objective of this study was to assess the intake and quantification of AGEs in individuals with PD and to correlate them with their functional and cognitive abilities.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional study involving 20 PD patients and 20 non-PD individuals as the Control group (C).
