Objective: To characterize long-term patient-reported symptoms and quality of life, in adults after COVID-19.
Material And Methods: Cross-sectional study in Cantabria (Northern Spain) including adults with PCR-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection ( = 694) with a time period between 4.7 and 24 month post-SARS-CoV-2 diagnosis, and their close contacts ( = 663) (PCR negative and without suspected infection) obtained from simple random sampling of a total of 47,773 cases and 94,301 close contacts.

The aim of our study was to determine the frequency of RV echocardiographic changes in patients who have recovered from COVID-19 and to verify the association between severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and echocardiographic findings.
Methods: Patients who had recovered from COVID-19 undergoing outpatient follow-up underwent transthoracic echocardiography, and based on the findings, were divided into two groups: normal and abnormal.
This article provides a scoping review of the nascent empirical literature on professional learning for MTSS. We used a systematic search strategy to find studies on the impact of professional learning on educator and implementation outcomes. Seventy-nine studies utilizing a variety of designs were included.

Researchers agree professional learning is critical for educators to implement the critical components of MTSS; however, professional learning approaches vary in their designs and targeted outcomes. While researchers increasingly focus their inquiries on professional learning for MTSS, no systematic research review exists.

This condition can be treated through numerous types of therapy. The purpose of this study was to analyze, as a meta-analysis, different treatments used to alleviate painful diabetic neuropathy, with the aim of generating results that help making decisions when applying such treatments to tackle this pathology.

Findings: A 20-year-old woman with a history of contact lens wear was referred to our hospital for keratitis after responding poorly to conventional treatment. In vivo confocal microscopy images suggested acanthamoeba keratitis with double-walled cysts in the anterior corneal stroma.
Objective: The aim of this work was to study the relationship of torsional and rotational parameters of the lower limb with a specific angular position of the cleat to establish whether these variables affect the adjustment of the cleat.
Design: Correlational study.
Setting: Motion analysis laboratory.
Background: Collagen cross linking (CXL) of the cornea has been developed recently as a new treatment for multidrug-resistant infectious keratitis. The aim of this study is to summarize the previously published data and evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment.
Results: The search identified 12 articles.
This study investigates the efficacy of intermediate penalty kickers by comparing the effect of applying an automated WiFi system on the field of play to simulate a strategy that takes account of goalkeeper action (dependent) with another for which goalkeeper strategy is irrelevant (independent). Intermediate penalty kickers (n=12) took a pretreatment test of 32 kicks in a "real-play" situation with intermediate goalkeepers (n=3). Two groups of kickers underwent 11 treatment sessions using different strategies and then were administered a posttreatment test.

Background: Orthotic devices are used to help children progressively acquire a more physiologic walking pattern.
Methods: To determine the effect of an orthotic device with an out-toeing wedge along with a physiologic shoe as treatment for in-toed gait, angle of gait was measured in 48 children aged 3 to 14 years with in-toed gait. The following comparisons were made: angle of gait in children unshod versus children shod without treatment, angle of gait in children shod without treatment versus children shod plus orthoses, and angle of gait in children unshod versus children shod plus orthoses.
Our goal was to investigate whether previously related antiapoptotic and anti-inflammatory effects of tacrolimus could be useful in protecting human islets cultured in the presence of several proinflammatory mediators. Human islets obtained from cadaveric donors after intraductal infusion with collagenase, mechanical digestion, and continuous Ficoll gradient purification were cultured in RPMI-1640 medium for 24 h. Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (10 microg/ml) or interleukin-1 (50 UI/ml) + gamma-IF (1000 UI/ml) and low-dose tacroliumus (5 ng/ml) were added.

Methods: In a sample of 144 dorsoplantar radiographs under weightbearing conditions (94 of normal feet and 50 of feet with a slightly stiff hallux), measurements were made of the relative first metatarsal protrusion, the length and width of the first metatarsal and of the proximal phalanx of the hallux, the length of the distal phalanx of the hallux, and the total length of the hallux.
Results: There were significant differences between the two types of feet in the relative first metatarsal protrusion, the width of the first metatarsal, the length and width of the proximal phalanx of the hallux, the length of the distal phalanx, and the total length of the hallux.
A pressurised liquid extraction (PLE) method for the analysis of ochratoxin A (OTA) in bread samples is given. Parameters such as solvent, temperature, pressure and time were investigated thoroughly. The optimized PLE conditions were: methanol as extraction solvent, 80 degrees C, 2000 psi and a 5-min cycle.

In econometrics, HP filtering is a standard tool used to decompose a macroeconomic time series into a nonstationary trend component and a stationary residual component. The use of the HP filter in the present work is based on reasonable assumptions about the jerk and noise components of the raw displacement signal.

Design: Prospective observational case series.
Participants: Eighteen eyes of nine patients were included.
Purpose: To study the effect of autologous serum in the treatment of recurrent corneal erosions.
Methods: Eleven eyes of 11 consecutive patients with acute macroform corneal erosions who had suffered several relapses despite receiving different types of treatment were analyzed from November 2000 to February 2002. All patients were treated with autologous serum for 3 months.
