[Endometriosis of the ileum as cause intestinal obstruction].

We report the case of a patient of 40 years, in childbearing age with clinical abdominal obstruction, diagnostic laparoscopy revealed an ileal stenosing tumor, after intestinal resection their histopathological study found endometrial epithelium and stroma confirming the diagnosis of endometrial ileal endometriosis. It is the revision of this pathology. In young patients without previous surgery and with a history of painful periods bloating associated with defecation rhythm alteration, endometriosis should be included in the differential diagnosis of intestinal obstruction.

[Torus palatinus and torus mandibularis].

Lesions in the oral cavity due to protuberant bone growths known as hyperostosis, which in the oral cavity are found at the palate: torus palatinus (TP) and in the jaw area torus mandibularis (TM).

[Gastric histoplasmosis simulating a malignant gastric ulcer].

The case evaluated hereunder is that of a young patient, from a Histoplasmosis-endemic area, reporting chronic abdominal pain. An upper gastric endoscopy evidenced the presence of gastric compromise, characterized by evident infiltrating ulcerous damage simulating a carcinoma. The final diagnosis was chronic disseminated histoplasmosis with gastric compromise.

[Clinical-epidemiological characteristics in caustics ingestion patients in the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital].

Unlabelled: The ingestion of caustic substances represents a serious problem, often with devastating consequences on the esophagus and the stomach.

Objectives: 1) Determine the main caustic substance ingested and the lesions on the esophageal-gastric mucose. 2) Find out the clinical-epidemiological characteristics of these patients in our hospital.
