Purpose: To evaluate the long-term effects on corneal endothelium after pediatric cataract surgery.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of 58 eyes operated for unilateral pediatric cataract with a mean age at the time of cataract surgery of 38.2 ± 41.
Purpose: To determine whether an intravitreal bevacizumab injection after phacoemulsification can improve cataract surgery visual outcomes in patients with diabetic macular edema by acting on the degree of edema.
Setting: Fundación Oftalmológica del Mediterráneo, Valencia, Spain.
Methods: We selected 26 consecutive diabetic patients with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy and macular edema who were to undergo cataract surgery, and we divided them into two randomized groups to be studied prospectively.

- The authors concluded that a more extensive study is needed to explore the long-term effects of glistenings on visual function and their underlying causes.
Purpose: Anterior chamber involvement is unusual in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and has never been described in the setting of Ph+ (Philadelphia chromosome-positive) ALL. Moreover, there have been no reports of this complication as a primary relapse in a patient treated with imatinib.
