Article Synopsis
  • Millions of temperature-sensitive goods require precise temperature and humidity control during production and transport, raising quality control concerns among various stakeholders.
  • A study utilized a combination of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and WSN (Wireless Sensor Networks) in three different commercial cold storage chambers, each with unique settings and products.
  • The data collected enabled 3D temperature mapping and calculated factors like energy consumption, water loss from products, and condensation detection, improving overall cold chain monitoring and management.
