- A total of 112 TB patients were evaluated, measuring their serum levels of anti-PGL-I immunoglobulins using ELISA tests, revealing a seropositivity of 27.68% for IgM and 41.96% for IgG.
- The results indicated higher seropositivity levels among patients with extrapulmonary TB compared to those with pulmonary TB and a combined pulmonary-extrapulmonary type, suggesting a need for ongoing monitoring for possible leprosy in TB patients
