Quasi-2D layered halide perovskites (quasi-2DLPs) have emerged as promising materials for photovoltaic (PV) applications owing to their advantageous bandgap for absorbing visible light and the improved stability they enable. Their charge transport mechanism is heavily influenced by the grain orientation of their crystals as well as their nanostructures, such as grain boundaries (GBs) and edge states─the formation of which is inevitable in polycrystalline quasi-2DLP thin films. Despite their importance, the impact of these features on charge transport remains unexplored.

Mesothelioma has become a major health burden since World War II because of the use of asbestos. Although many countries have imposed bans on asbestos, there remain significant mortality and morbidity from mesothelioma because of its long latent period and aggressiveness. Also, the use of asbestos is increasing in low-income countries, potentiating risk of mesothelioma in the coming decades.

Ligand-assisted re-precipitation (LARP) is one of the most practicing techniques for synthesizing colloidal nanocrystals (NCs). In everyday life, superior lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), with fast charging ability, have become valuable assets. The LIB performance of an anode composite copper cobalt tin sulphide (CuCoSnS; CCTS) electrode, which was fabricated using a simple and easy hydrothermal method, was investigated. The electrochemical charge storage performance of the CCTS anode demonstrated sustainability, high-rate capability and efficiency.
