This study explores improving proton exchange membrane water electrolysis (PEMWE) by achieving both cost-effectiveness and enhanced efficiency through the replacement of the costly and environmentally challenging Nafion ionomer with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) as an anode binder. HPMC, an eco-friendly and cost-effective material, was cross-linked with citric acid to form a durable hydrogel that enhances water and proton transport within the catalyst layer. Using the cross-linked HPMC binder allowed a reduction in cost to 1/54 compared to Nafion ionomer, while the performance of the cross-linked HPMC electrodes remained comparable to Nafion electrodes.

This study aimed to identify radiotherapy dosimetric parameters related to local failure (LF)-free survival (LFFS) in patients with lung and liver oligometastases from colorectal cancer treated with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Background: In the FIGHT study (NCT03694522) bemarituzumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody selective for fibroblast growth factor receptor 2b (FGFR2b), plus mFOLFOX6 showed clinically meaningful efficacy in patients with FGFR2b-positive (2+/3+ membranous staining by immunohistochemistry) locally advanced unresectable/metastatic gastric/gastroesophageal cancer (G/GEJC). A meaningful proportion of patients in FIGHT were enrolled in East Asia, reflecting global epidemiology of G/GEJC.

These species lacking the fourth leg endopod belong to the group, one of two species groups within the genus Smirnov, 1946. Coating Zr-based metallic glass, Zr Cu Ni Al (Zr-MG), on a Cu current collector (CC) and Li metal anode (LMA) significantly improves the cycle performance of both types of Li-ion batteries, namely, anode-free Li-ion batteries (AFLBs) and Li metal batteries (LMB). The inherent isotropy and homogeneity of the Zr-MG significantly improve the surface uniformity of the CC and LMA. A 12 nm-thick Zr-MG thin film coating on the CC reduces the overpotential in the AFLB, leading to a more uniform Li plating morphology.
