This article suggests strategies for increasing representation of Spanish speakers in clinical rials by emphasizing the importance of early engagement with Spanish language communities, inclusive participant recruitment, and collaborative trial design and implementation. Although investigators and institutions administering government-funded research must meet federal requirements for language assistance, journal editors, peer reviewers, institutional review board members, academic health centers, and all beneficiaries of the biomedical and behavioral research enterprise in the United States must motivate linguistic inclusion.

The objective of this study was to determine if the intraoperative DI and the changes produced by per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) differed between achalasia subtypes.
Methods: FLIP measurements were performed during POEM for achalasia at a single institution.
Previous studies assessing healthcare provider compliance to the 2013 American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) cholesterol guidelines indicate a significant underuse of statin therapy at appropriate intensity. However, data are limited in primary prevention patients. Our study aimed to evaluate the impact of the 2013 ACC/AHA guidelines through a retrospective analysis of primary prevention patients presenting with first time acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
