Background: Influenza can be associated with nonrespiratory disease presentation, but these are less well documented due to the lack of routine testing for influenza in the healthcare system, especially if patients do not present with influenza-like illness (ILI). We aimed to measure the proportion of influenza cases seeking care at emergency department (ED) for a nontraumatic cause, to describe their clinical presentation and their ED-discharge diagnosis.
Methods: The study was conducted at seven hospitals in France, Spain, Italy and Germany during the 2019-20 influenza season, for a period of 10 weeks.
Recent literature on significance and treatment of ulnar styloid fractures suggest that the ulnar styloid is not the central problem but the radioulnar ligaments and their impact on joint stability. However, specifically displaced ulnar styloid process fractures that secondarily heal in an ectopic position remain a rare situation for which diagnostics and treatment options remain a topic of discussion. This case series presents four patients with limited supination due to a fixed dorsal subluxation of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ).

A mold was printed based on CT-reconstructed 3D models of the patient's anatomy to create an antibiotic-loaded cement spacer as endoprosthetic replacement used in combination with soft-tissue reconstruction and systemic antibiotics.
Conclusion: This then undescribed novel technique allowed for fast local recovery of the patient's hand function and return to work.
Ecological opportunity is considered a crucial factor for adaptive radiation. Here, we combine genetic, morphological and ecological data to assess species and ecomorphological diversity of Artic charr in six lakes of a catchment in southernmost Greenland, where only charr and stickleback occur. Because the diversity of habitats and resources increases with lake size, we predict a positive association between lake size and the extent of ecomorphological diversity.

This occurs when the lineage that arrives first expands its niche breadth and diversifies into a set of ecological specialists with associated monopolization of the resources. Later-arriving species do not experience ecological opportunity and do not radiate.
