Objective: Postoperative headache is an undesirable consequence of retrosigmoid vestibular schwannoma (VS) removal. An ultrasonic bone aspirator (UBA) may reduce headache by minimizing subarachnoid bone dust dispersion. The feasibility of removing internal auditory canal (IAC) bone with a UBA is unknown.
